As the EAGLES’ highly anticipated final tour ended across America and it’s ready to hit Europe, they are releasing a definitive, career-spanning collection that combines the band’s greatest hits with beloved album tracks and classic live performances. The release is available as 3-CD and 6-LP set.
This “To the Limit: The Essential Collection [Japanese Edition]” was released a few days ago. The collection thoughtfully curated 51 songs from the studio albums and live recordings the Eagles released between 1972 and 2020 – all remastered. All of the band’s best-known tracks are here, including the hits “Hotel California,” “Take It Easy,” “Lyin’ Eyes,” “One Of These Nights,” “Life in the Fast Lane”, “Tequila Sunrise” and more. The set also features plenty of fan favorites with songs like “Desperado,” “Victim Of Love,” and “In The City.”
Beyond the studio, ‘To the Limit’ highlights the Eagles’ impressive touring legacy with more than a dozen electrifying live tracks. These feature selections from Eagles Live (1980) – including the Top 40 hit “Seven Bridges Road” – as well as songs from the impressive MTV Hell Freezes Over (1994), The Millennium Concert (2000), Live At The Forum ’76, and Live From The Forum MMXVIII (2020).
The Eagles successful North American leg of their The Long Goodbye Tour ended March 16 in Charlotte, North Carolina. The band will then head to Europe in late May and June for five-night stand in Manchester, U.K., followed by a two-show engagement in Arnhem, Netherlands.
“To the Limit: The Essential Collection [Japanese Edition]” is an excellent compendium from the Eagles celebrated career.
